Giving Tuesday Solar Panels Campaign

We’ve witnessed how natural disasters can devastate the island communities in the Caribbean. In Haiti, nature is only one threat to our ability to thrive; our infrastructure is neglected and fragile at best.

Our schools rely on electricity for more than lights, refrigerators, computers and other equipment. Access to reliable power in times of need enables us to support not just our students and staff, but, often, their families and our community.

Last year, with the generous support of many of you, we were able to obtain a backup generator to assist during the frequent power outages. Now, we have an opportunity to add sustainable solar energy that will enable us to operate independently of the inadequate electrical infrastructure in our community.

We’re again blessed to have a generous supporter who will match Giving Tuesday contributions that will enable us to install solar panels for our preschool. Would you please consider donating to The Mortel High Hopes for Haiti Foundation this Giving Tuesday? With your support, we can continue our efforts to eliminate obstacles to the success of our mission, to Empower through Education.

Thanks, and may God bless you!
