We’re just $9,000 away from making our school’s electricity system nearly autonomous.

The past two years, the Mortel High Hopes for Haiti team has asked for donations on Giving Tuesday to improve our school’s electricity system. As you’ve heard, the electric grid available in Haiti is extremely unreliable and inconsistent, making it incapable of providing the power needed to sustain the classrooms, computer lab and dental equipment at our schools.

With each improvement made to our system, we are getting closer and closer to achieving sustainable electricity for our students.

This year, we are in need of $9,000 to purchase two new inverters and batteries to support our electricity system and help get us closer to electrical autonomy.

Help us by donating to the Mortel High Hopes for Haiti Foundation on or before November 27!
